Welcome to the 1st Episode:
My name is Angela, I am 24years old. I am a graduate from Babcock University, I studied food science. I currently work with Nestle Foods. I live with two crazy bitches in the staff quarters of my company.
Sanzy is the bitch while Jane is the queen bitch. Sanzy is selective when it comes to men while Jane can go after anything in pants, so far there is money involved. Jane is a business administrator, and she is the secretary to the Quality control Manager. Sanzy is a Biochemist and she is one of our quality control officers. I am the food analyst.
The three of us work in the same department, this makes us to be very close coupled with the fact that we live in the same apartment. I am the only churchy one amongst them. Sanzy goes to church once in three months while Jane only goes on December 31st.
We are really doing good in my family and we are financially blessed. My dad was an Engineer before he retired and my mum is a business woman. I have a big sister staying abroad named Patricia. I was brought up to go to church every service day. And I've been part of the church work force since I was ten. My education was a little bit fast. I gained admission into the University at age 17, and finished at 21. Immediately after my youth service I got a job with Nestle Foods as a food analyst and this is where I met my two crazy friends.
Due to the distance between my workplace and home, I had to move to the staff quarters which my company provided and the only vacant room was in Sanzy and Jane's flat. We were already friends so we quickly got along. Living with them however was an entirely different experience from working with them. I soon got to know that they were both heavy drinkers and Jane even smoke. I usually do go to my parents home on weekends, most times I leave them behind. Their plans for the weekend were mostly clubbing on Friday nights.
On a particular weekend, I decided to stay back with them in the staff quarters cos my parents were on a trip. I told my housemates and they were so excited because coincidentally, one of Jane's boyfriends was throwing a party that Friday.
Me - "Friday night?"
Jane - "Yes, it's an all night party"
Me - "Oh no! Count me out of that, I don't attend night parties"
Jane - "Oh common Angela, I know you don't attend night parties, but this is not just any party, it is my boyfriend's party and I'm the one inviting you"
Jane actually said that as if it were no big deal for me to attend a night party. Maybe to her it isn't, but to me it is a big deal.
Me - "Still I don't think I can attend, I mean it's against my policy, but I'll give it a thought"
Jane - "Please do"
I started wondering, how was I suppose to attend a night party? I'm from a Christian home, I attend a bible believing church, I have been brought up against it. But still, I had this itch to go. I pushed the thought aside and took my favorite novel "Heartbeat" and started reading.
How time flies, before I knew it Thursday was here. We came back from the office on Thursday and I went to the kitchen to help myself with a glass of juice and then I went to my room to take my novel so I could read while I wait to watch my favorite Telenovela by 6pm. On getting to the living room I saw a strange male face. On sighting me, Jane stood up,
Jane - "Oh angela, there you are. Meet Mike my boyfriend who is holding a party tomorrow".
Me - "Oh...." That was all I could manage to say.
Before me stood a very cute and handsome young man with a height of about 6ft 4, dark in complexion, huge and with the most charming eyes I've ever seen. I found my right hand enclosed in an handshake with the softest male hand I've ever touched. How could a man's hand be this warm and soft? I thought.
"Good evening" I managed to say after a long pause.
Mike - "Good evening, you look beautiful"
Did I hear him right? Beautiful? How can he say that in the presence of his girlfriend? I felt heat rising up to my cheeks, I was blushing.
Me - "Thank you"
I hoped neither of them noticed the red heat on my cheeks. Jane pulled his hand out of mine and we sat down. I held my novel to my face but I wasn't reading. I was looking at this cute guy sitting right across me. How could a guy this cute be the boyfriend of such a bitch as Jane?
Where had they met?
Well it could be in one of those night clubs, I concluded within me.
".... Come for my party" I realized Mike was talking to me.
Me - "Pardon?"
Mike - "Jane told me you may not come for my party"
Me - "Yea, that's true"
Mike - "Why is that so?"
Me - "Well I don't go to night parties"
Mike - "Oh, don't give me that. You are a big girl and you don't go to parties?"
Me - "I didn't say I don't go to parties, its night parties I don't attend"
Mike - "Okay, but can you make an exemption for me? I can't help having a beautiful lady like you in my party"
He said that with a big smile on his face. I felt heat rise up my cheeks again. Oh common Angela why are you blushing like a school girl? I warned myself.
Mike - "Pleaseee"
How can I resist him when he's smiling like that?
