HOW MY FIRST LOVE LETTER TO A GIRL GOT ME INTO DEEP TROUBLE.

This is one part of my life I hate to share with anybody whatsoever. Each time I remember this horrible time of my life, I don't feel happy with myself...I always feel like a FUCK UP guy. I went through hell. My mama nearly kill me cuz of mere love letter. Wetin kan vex me for the matter be sey; 'it was my very first love letter to a girl.'

I'll make this story short, you guyz should just flow along with me. ENJOY:

It was a Sunday afternoon after church service, my siblings and I were preparing to attend a birthday party of one of my mum's friend's son. I was just 15 that year but I was wiser than my age. For every occasion like this, I dey always like to 'dress to break neck', so I was in my best shirt and pants. I wore the shoes my Aunt just sent to me from abroad. I looked fabulous....not that I was hoping to meet someone at the party but I just wanted to stand out.

The first girl I saw at the party caught my attention and throughout the period I was at the birthday party, I never took my eyes of this pretty damsel called Temitope (real name...I intentionally used it). I enquired about her from the celebrant's elder brother who was my friend. I was made to understand that Temitope was a daughter of my mum's other friend. This got me scared a little but I was so determined to have this babe as my girlfriend....e don tey wey I don dey do shina.

I later got info that she was my junior (I was in S.S 1, she was in J.S.S 3 buh in different schools....she attended the same school as the celebrant's elder brother). I love slim and tall girls, Temitope get everything wey I don dey find. Although she was young but tender, her assets (boobs and ass) were gorgeous. *Sorry, make I no go deep cuz some people dey fast*.

I couldn't approach her at the party but I made sure I did all the talking with my eyes. She obviously knew that I was gon come for her one day. I couldn't sleep that night. Even at school the next day, I was so reserved, that was unusual of me though. Na this babe matter dey burst my brain so ooo.  After thinking of various ways through which I would make my feelings known to this babe, I arrived at a conclusion to make use of the 'Love Letter' method. I wrote my letter so well that I was very sure she would be left with no choice than to ACEEPT. My friend, Ayobami (the celebrant's elder brother) was the DHL through which I got the scented enveloped letter delivered to Temitope.

I got the shock of my life when my mum sent me on an errand to go get something from Temitope's mum. I had never been to their house, it was my first time, so I dressed like that guy going for a blind date (my mum was even surprised with my dressing) hoping to see Tope at home. On getting to their house, Tope wasn't around and after her mum gave me what I came to collect, the next thing I heard was:
"Is this not the Yinka who wrote a love letter to my daughter?"

Oh my Sweet Jesus!!! See GOBE!!! This babe go tell her mama sey I send her love letter ni sha. Mogbe!!!

Then her mum said:
"Don't worry, you don't need to deny it. Your letter is with me and it will soon get to your mum"

I didn't know what to do, whether to beg ni ooo or to just walk away. Fear begin dey catch me. I kan turn shaky shaky Yinka. I got home and was so afraid to go deliver the errand my mum sent me. I later got an idea which was:
I told my mum what happened at Tope's house and explained to my mum that I knew nothing about the letter. I acted like I was so angry with Tope's mum for embarrassing me for what I didn't do.

My mum trusted me for my words and assured me that she would handle the situation well. I was relieved a little bit but it lasted until one Sunday morning when my handwritten 'Love Letter' was brought into my house for my mum to see. Bless the name of the Lord that my dad wasn't around. He traveled every weekend.

My mum carefully read the letter and slowly muttered the following words:
"So Yinka, your English in a love letter can be this good and you never passed English in school? My goodness, see how your hand writing look cool and fine."

The next thing that followed was a resounding slap on my face. She didn't even ask me if I wrote it or not. She was so sure I did anyway. I was given the punishment I hated most, I had to comply if I didn't want my dad to know about the whole story....na that one go bad pass. I worked in our poultry farm for a week....I skipped school for that whole week. I hated myself and Temitope.

Well itz been up to 10 years now and I've never set my eyes on Tope since then....but I really wish to, just to tell her how stupid she was to have shown her mum MY FIRST LOVE LETTER.
