Some of us get past wey sweet to tell. And at the same time, there are many of us wey get past wey no sweet to tell at all. This is a true fact that cannot be denied. I know some people will be sooo happy that I'm treating this topic. You are all welcome.
Many people find it difficult to share their past (especially when it is very bad) with their spouses. They fear it might be used against them later on. As much as this is true, there are still some things you need to know about this issue. And this is what I have to say about this issue.
If na boyfriend and girlfriend tingy....abeg, no try am. It is not advisable. If I don't see a future with you....I ain't gon share even my PRESENT with you. Na why I use 'Partner' for the topic be that, not girlfriend/boyfriend.
But as for spouses, it is necessary but not compulsory as it will help things to work out well in your relationship. If there are issues about your past that is still affecting you, sharing it with your spouse can go a long way to help STOP the effect.
However, you must be real about it. Always remember that it is a thing of the PAST and NEVER ALLOW it affect your PRESENT. Let your partner understand that everything is fine with you now and that there is no need to fear (Some people's past can be scary).
From the little research I made, I discover that it is good if both of you sit yourselves down and talk about your past....so, you both cry over it at that spot and then let it END there.
