HOW I WAS PRACTICALLY SOLD ON TWITTER WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

My people, I thought 'SLAVE TRADE' don end for Nigeria since we gained independence in 1960, not until I was sold (not as a slave sha) on twitter.

A whole ME! The Charming Humble Nice Guy, The Freaky Individual, The Online Thug, The Only Ijebu Boy With An Igbo Sense. I was so shocked and taken aback when I discovered that I had been sold.

You all must have been seeing something like this everywhere online:
"Boost your social media strength and presence by buying followers. 10,000 active twitter followers available for sale at the rate of 12K. Also, a facebook page of 50,000 likes available for sale, 67K ONLY. Contact....."

So, let's do some lil mathematics here:
If 10,000 followers cost N12,000
1 follower will cost 12,000 ÷ 10,000 = N1.2

My people, I was sold for N1.2!!!

Modaran!!!

Haaaaaa! This is not fair, na slave trade you people dey use scope bring back to Nigeria. Make una at least fear the Creator of the followers you are selling on social media. The sellers call themselves 'Social Media Marketers'. I tell you, they are not in its real sense.....they should be called 'Social Media Users Sellers'. Not that they are really gon work followers to your account, all they do is buy an already made twitter account that has got the number of followers you want and then make it yours.....they will just make some lil changes to the account; delete all DMs and pictures, change the handle and some other necessary changes will be made to make it look brand new again.....Lobatan.

These self-acclaimed social media marketers sell individuals (male and female) following a particular twitter handle to anyone who's interested, so they all become the buyer's slaves. They will retweet when you tell them to, they'll follow anybody you want them to follow, they will visit any link you tweet etc. No be slavery be that?

I was an active follower to a twitter account (handle with-held) with more than 10K followers. As a matter of fact, the owner of this account and I became so close that he added me on BBM. My neck broke when I discovered some changes to this my friend's account; it turned out to be that an upcoming blog had bought my friend's twitter account. For sure, I dey among the followers, so dem sell me join.....*sobbing* my padi sell me for twitter without my consent...at the rate of N1.2.....na so I take cheap?.......*crying* Chai! Chai!! Chai!!! Daris god ooooo, daris god oooo.

Now, this my friend is nowhere to be found. E pain me oooo, I no go lie you, o dun mi wo inu ishan. Buh, there was nothing I could do. The worse I did was annoyingly unfollow the account.

Me I don vow oooo. If this is what is trending, me too must not lack, as an Online Thug that I am; I must not dull at all. I don dey save my money already, I must buy my own slaves too....this is the only way through which I can revenge. And nothing, I mean NOTHING whatsoever will stop me.

So, watch out! I am about to buy you on twitter. Yes! I mean YOU, YOU gan gan.
