THE DOUBLE DATING GAME, HOW COOL IS IT? - HUSBAND MATERIAL SPEAKS [ @husband_materia ]

My people of great esteem. I greet you all. I have invited Husband Material again to my blog and this is to cover up for all the wrongs he's done to you people concerning the story he started but couldn't complete - BORN WITHOUT AN IDENTITY [THE TRUE LIFE STORY OF AN ORPHAN] . He has promised to finish up the story soon...yaaayyy!!! Good news abi? In the meantime, he's got something to tell those of you wey dey double-date or wey wan double date.

If not for fools, discussions would be made in parables, the double dating game is one that has been in existence with man since the day God breathe air inside us, Eve tried a little double dating with satan, I guess that was why God banished both Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden.

This seem to be in vogue now, one guy to over three different women and vice versa, and the advent of social media has aided the double dating game that was limping to "Usain bolt", been tagged a "player" is cool on campus, you have tons of flesh tossed at you. I have been able to experience the dating game first hand and also interviewed lots people during my course of writing this article, most readily available reason girls use to cover up this addictive habit has been summed up in an old phrase:
"Can't put my eggs in one basket" or "No man is to be trusted".
If you truly love just one partner and gives him every reason to believe in you, do you think he/she would cheat?.

Never will a week pass in the national dailies would you not read about a love that has gone sour, its gory end, the lies and the cheats, its all boils down to letting your insatiable want for attention or the innate philanderous nature of man. Sometimes I don't blame people who cheat,  this is what Amaka 31, a hairdresser said to me: "I dated a guy for six years whom I practically paid his fees and saw him through school, with so many guys coming for my hand in marriage which I turned down hoping that the said guy would walk me down the aisle, but he turned out to be a liar because he got married to his classmate the moment he got out of school, if I was double dating I would have married before he even got out of school, now am trapped".

When you hear such heart wrenching stories, you see no reason why you shouldn't double date.

Between the female and the male folks, I think the double dating game is played most by the men.

A celebrated Casanova once said:
"Double dating is the test of a real man and it's encoded in our gene to cheat, the moment we catch our prey we are onto the next one".

If double dating was relieved of the trail of heartbreak, pain and trauma, those who suffer the reapings of its ugly fruit and then its health risk of the too many diseases on the prawl looking for who to suck out the future off, I would say double dating is cool, I would say its gives us the opportunity to see the world, meet new people and experiences, but the excruciating pain of heartbreaks and the bizarre things lovers do when it gets sour makes the double dating game a time bomb with its time set the moment you accept that first free ride or lunch!

Its a game of choice but let the dice always roll even for when the chips are down you won't believe the damage it might cost.
