For this reason the MISS DAZZLE NIGERIA BEAUTY PAGEANT CONTEST was born. The global banking alliance for women says women entrepreneurs drive 20% more revenue in spite of 50% less being invested in them. Also just a few months ago the Women of West Africa In Entrepreneurship (WOWE) has gathered a wide support from the female business community in Nigeria, connecting a landmark of 10,000 members in just 4 weeks. There are many success stories from the likes of Victoria Benedicta Okpanachia WOWE member who said “if more women gets empowered in Nigeria things would get better”, Tosin Alabia PhD Student and member of WOWE, who said “I get inspiration from the stories of other women who have succeeded in their own business, its not just a community, it’s a family of successful female entrepreneurs who encourage and support each other”.
