Sexy Ladies and Handsome Gentlemen, I know sey una don vex for me...buh no be my fault ooo, na Husband Material. You know he is the author na, buh he has promised to change sha. So, here is the link to the LAST EPISODE.
Welcome to the Episode 4:
He drove into a well tushed compound, it has all the grandeur of class and the best of architectural edifice. We all came down and he directed us as we followed him into the building and he took us to a room and then properly introduced himself to us and told us his name was Alfred
ALFRED: You guys should feel at home here, over dinner we would discuss about you guys and then I know what to do.
We shook our heads and then dropped the polythene bag containing our clothes as he left only for a guy dressed in a chef attire to come knock on our door
CHEF: Food is ready guys! Come to the dinning.
We all joined Mr Alfred in the dinning as we ate and narrated our story to him, he felt pity for us and then assured us that we could stay as long as we like but not with a caution of us respecting his rules. Calmness came over me when he said those words, it was all I needed to survive, a shelter over my head and food to it.
Later in the middle of the night we heard knocks on our door as Mr Alfred walked into our room and put the lights on, I was so tired from the long trek earlier in the day as I noticed his movements but couldn't get up as all my bones were weak. He came close to me where I was sleeping and began to caress my thighs, I was shocked as I jumped up from the bed and he gave me a sign not to shout and wake others up
ALFRED: You a handsome boy and I like you a lot, it was because of you that I decided to help your friends.
The whole gay thing was strange to me as I couldn't phantom why a guy would have feelings for his fellow man. I resisted and told him that I couldn't give him what he was asking of me, he promised heaven on earth and even tried struggling and that was when Favour and Patience woke up. He stood up and turned to Patience, and ordered her to follow him to his room. As Patience stood up to leave with him, I grabbed her hand and she dragged her hand out from my grip and then said
PATIENCE: You ruined my life back at home, see where it landed us and you want to ruin it again, Please let me be!
I was shocked when those words came out of her mouth as tears came cascading down her cheek, she turned and left the room as Mr Alfred left with her.
Early the next day, I and Favour were ordered out of the house by the security guard, we could neither see Patience nor Mr Alfred as we left the mansion but we were given fifty thousand naira in a brown envelope that was handed over to us by the security guard. Favour kept crying as we took the long walk from the serene environment to the junction, we trekked for hours without any destination in mind, we knew no one and the ever busy Lagos is a place where nobody seem to care about the next person and when we finally got to third mainland and we decided to sit down to rest our feet, discussing on our next line of action, a tall lanky guy who had large tribal marks drawn on his face, wearing dirty old clothes, who should be about my age walked up to us and said
GUY: Kilon shele? E be like say una be JJC o
With his croaky voice and the way he held his trouser that was pulling off his waist, I looked at him and answered him
ME: We dey look were we fit rent cheap house, very very cheap house o!
GUY: As I dey see una so, I know say una no hold money. The only place una go fit get house na for Ajegunle
ME: Abeg you fit carry us go dia?
GUY: Just like that? You go find me something na! See this JJC o, na me carry you come Lagos?
I gave him five hundred naira out of the money we had and it seem like that was jackpot to him and he began to treat us like royalty, he took us to the chairman of the Ajegunle slum. The awkward looking chairman who has a funny body structure, thin like he would die the next minute but with a potbelly of someone suffering from kwashiorkor. We paid the necessary fee and would have to sleep in his house that night to enable the carpenter create a makeshift house for us the next day.
Life was really bleak and blunt, wit no shoulder to lean on, I decided to take all in good faith, I don't know what the future holds but I was determined to live.
