FINDING LOVE THROUGH BETRAYAL - EPISODE 2 [BY TEE SILVA]

Good evening my wonderful people. Tee Silva is here with the continuation of your MOST LOVELY LOVE STORY.....Oya, if you no see EPISODE 1, read am ------>>> HERE.

Welcome to the 2nd Episode:

"Actually Mike, she said she was going to give it a thought" Jane chipped in.
Mike - "So have you given it a thought? Please say yes"
Me - "Okay Mike, I'll come"

"Wow", Jane and Mike said in chorus and clapped their hands like school children. I just smiled and stood up to leave.
Me - "Okay, let me excuse you guys then".
Mike - "No, no, no Angela, I'll be leaving now. I still have a lot of things to put in place against tomorrow"
Me - "Alright then, take care"
Mike - "You too, bye"

He rose to leave and Jane stood up to see him off. I just stared at his back mouth agape as he leaves, I have never seen someone this handsome.
"Oh my gawd, that guy sweeps me off my feet" I said without realizing that Sanzy was in the room.
Sanzy - "Now why is my girlfriend staring into the space as if she had just seen a charming prince?"
Me - "Oh Sanzy, there you are. I have just agreed to accompany you ladies to Mike's party"
Sanzy - "Really? That's nice. So what are you going to wear?"
Me - "That's true"

I hadn't thought of that when I agreed to go to the party. I'm sure nothing in my wardrobe will fit into that gathering, so I asked Sanzy to help me out.
Sanzy - "Sure I will, let's see your wardrobe"

We stood up and went to my room, after rummaging my wardrobe, Sanzy confirmed what I already knew. Sanzy - "Babe, there's nothing in this wardrobe that can fit into Mike's party"
So we decided to go for a late evening shopping. On our way out we met Jane and she agreed to join us for shopping. My friends helped me choose the most sexiest outfit I've ever owned. It was a pink gown much more above the knee with silver strapping here and there and definitely sexy, too sexy. They helped me choose a matching silver 6inches sandals and clutch, then we headed for home.

Friday morning came with the excitement. Sanzy and I went to work, Jane had taken the day off work so she could have time to prepare. By the time we came back from work, Jane had left a note that she has gone, told us to prepare and meet her there by 10pm. The party was to start 11pm. I still had that guilt within me about the party. How will I be in a party 11pm till dawn when I'm suppose to be sleeping? Well the next day would be a Saturday and there won't be work so I'll get to rest.

At 8:30pm I took a warm bath and went into my room to dress up. Sanzy offered to do my make up. By 9:45pm, when I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I was dazed.
Me - "How can I go out like this?"
Sanzy - "Girl you look absolutely beautiful. As a matter of fact I never knew you were this pretty. Now don't be naughty, put on your shoes and wait for me in the living room while I take my purse"

With that she went out of my room. I stared at the mirror, a part of me wanted to pull off the cloth and stop myself from going to the party. But another part of me says I look really beautiful.
"Well I hope Mike would tell me I'm beautiful tonight again"
What's wrong with me? Am I falling for my friend's boyfriend? No, that can't be, I'm only astonished by the guy that's all. I can't be falling for him.
"Where is this girl?".

I heard Sanzy called out from the living room. I quickly slipped on my sandals, took a last look at my reflection in the mirror and joined Sanzy in the living room. We entered Sanzy's car and she drove us down to the party. We came nearer to a massive storey building. Sanzy explained to me that the hotel was owned by Mike's Uncle. There is a club hall and a big pool in the compound.
"In this place, there are many big fishes" Sanzy said with a big smile. "Here, you can meet a whole lot of big men, talk of Senators, Chairmen, Chiefs, businessmen, top politicians and a whole lot of them. If you are lucky enough, you get to catch a lot of big fishes tonight provided your net is big enough to contain them" she finished.

Do I really want to meet men? Even if I want to, definitely not politicians.
"Aren't you gonna say something?" Sanzy asked.
Me - "Well I have nothing to say. I didn't come here because I want to catch fish. I am here because I was invited and I couldn't have said no even if I wanted to".

As we drove near the building I was able to observe the area. It's really a big place. I had been told that Mike's party was a pool party. I hadn't attended any prior to that time so I had no idea what a pool party looks like. But I have been told what to expect by my friends.
"Here we are" Sanzy said as she pulled to a stop in a big car lot inside the hotel.

I tried to open the door and step out of the car but Sanzy stopped me.
"Wait" she said.
Me - "What?"
Sanzy - "Please Angela, I know you are not used to this kind of a thing but please try to put on your best behavior and try to smile more often cos you really look beautiful when you smile"
I smiled at that
Me - "Thanks" I said and started for the door.
Sanzy - "One more thing"
Me - "What now?"
Sanzy - "Please no preaching to anybody, at least not here and not tonight"
Me - "You are not serious Sanzy, am I a Pastor? And do you seriously think I can preach dressed like this? Anyway don't worry I'll be my best personality"
Sanzy - "Okay then let's go"

We both reached for the car door and stepped out. We walked towards the pool, I checked my time, it was 10:30pm, the party had not yet started. I scanned the area until I saw who I was looking for....
