TO HELL WITH WESTERN EDUCATION - THE ONLINE THUG SPEAKS.

I know most of you will want to crucify me cuz of my topic. But abeg before you bury me, make I die first. Calm down and reason with me by reading my write-up.

It will come to a point that the normal saying of an average Nigerian Youth will be: "To hell with Education". Some people sef don dey talk am already. There are so many things I wanna talk about when it comes to Education in Nigeria. In fact, that topic up there ain't what I wanted to use, my initial topic was; 'EDUCATION HAS LOST ITS VALUE AMONG THE NIGERIAN YOUTHS'. But, it doesn't sound like a GBAM topic.

This message is strictly for every serious minded Nigerian Youth. But please, don't let your dad or mum or sponsor or guardian see this. Enjoy:

I'LL TALK ABOUT NIGERIAN GUYS FIRST:
Have you noticed that if a Nigerian Guy isn't a Blogger, he'll be an artiste or a DJ? If he's not into wears (Customization of Tees), he'll be a Yahoo boy. Some sef dey do all.

No modern Nigerian guy wants to work with his certificate. Na all of us wan become Bosses. We wan ride exotic cars before we clock 29. Abi, no be so? There was a time almost all the guys in this country wants to be a footballer but now, Nairabet and Merrybet don turn us to gamblers. Even Yahoo boys, bloggers and artistes dey play Merrybet. Why? Cuz we want quick money, money we didn't really work hard for.

A guy who's into wears and a Yahoo boy would make cash in a short period of time. But being a blogger or an upcoming artiste no be wayo oooo. E no east at all oooo. Those two handiworks na wahala and hell. Some people think Google pays site owners when peoole visit their sites. Na lie oooooooo. Wetin concern Google with our sites? E no concern them oooo. Bloggers get money from ads and promotions. And some guys will just wake up one day and say they want to be a blogger because The Charming Humble Nice Guy is living a lavidaloca life. Hmmmmmm, I pity you oooo. You no sabi how many years e take me to start earning from blogging? You go hear am! Nobody will tell you to go face your book when you start experiencing the ups and downs.

NOW, ONTO THE LADIES:
If a Nigerian lady isn't into Beads Making, Cosmetics and Make-up; she'll be an event planner. If she's not selling wears and footwears; She'll be into Catering. *whispers* Or an Olosho/Tush Ashewo.

Gone are those days when a Nigerian lady will tell you she wishes to be a Medical Doctor or a Lawyer. For where? Ask your sister or babe what her ambition is....if she no tell you: 'I want to be the Best Fashionista in Africa', she'll say: 'I want to be the number make-up artiste in Africa'. Nobody wants to read again. No babe wants to be like Okonjo Iwaela.

Most female University students now run businesses in school. Dem plenty for UNILAG and OOU. They call themselves CEO of this or Founder of that. Many ladies sef don dey sing....Tiwa Savage has inspired so many wack/untalented singers....lolz.

These are all nice concepts though. My Dad was mad at me when I told him that I'm not about the GP my school prints on my certificate, I'm about the certificate itself. I just want to be called a GRADUATE. Lobatan. No be my fault na. Entertainment dey sell pass office work na. You know how much Mankind of Naijaloaded and Linda Ikeji are making from Blogging? What are you telling me? You all know the reward the winner of MTN Project Fame got na....And am also sure you know the reward a winner of a Debate Competition would get in Nigeria - You now see what I'm talking about?

And please, ayam not discouraging anyone. Education is good (at least I'm on my way to earning a degree) but your talent or hobby will earn you more money than any office work. Trust me.

Work on your TALENT. TALENT pays! But, don't ignore EDUCATION. Follow your PASSION. Do that which you find JOY in doing. I hope to see you at the TOP!!!
