I AM DEEPLY OFFENDED BY THE IMAGES OF JESUS CHRIST I SEE EVERYWHERE.

Like seriously, I've been wanting to address this issue long long time ago. But I dey always keep my comments and para to my personal self. The images of Jesus Christ I see in homes, offices and churches sef dey always vex me.

What I see does not portray the characteristics of Jesus Christ I know. The images of Jesus I see on those goddamn frames portray a calm, lazy and depressed looking Jesus of which my own Jesus ain't all of that. The Jesus I know is a Mighty Warrior and a Great Deliverer.

I was at a friend's house recently, and I was taken aback seeing a framed image of Jesus Christ in their kitchen. What on earth would have made someone hang an image of my own sweetest Jesus in a cooking place? No one will ever want to hang his/her picture on the wall of his/her kitchen. Then why Jesus?

The picture wasn't even looking good. I was so so so offended that I had to call the attention of my friend's mum to it and be taken away immediately. The picture frame portrayed a hungry Jesus, looking so much like an orphan. Gosh! My bad. Jesus wasn't even smiling in the frame.

This is so bad. Jesus Christ is His name. He is more than what you people portray him to be. Jesus Christ;
The Master Healer,
A Stronghold,
A Strong Tower,
Our Strength,
A refuge from the storm,
Our Shield.....you just cannot tell me the Jesus on those frames represent all I've called Him to be.

Just a piece of my mind.
