FINDING LOVE THROUGH BETRAYAL - EPISODE 3 [BY TEE SILVA]

Welcome to the 3rd Episode:

There he stood beside the pool in jeans and polo shirt. As simple has his dressing was, he still looked handsome. I stopped on my tracks when I saw him.
"Mike" I whispered.

Then he turned, his eyes lit up in a smile when he saw me. He looked happy to see me. I started walking toward him, then I saw Jane coming from the opposite direction and was calling out to Mike. He turned back to look at Jane. I used the time to caution myself about Mike.
"Now Angela take a grip on yourself, that man isn't yours and can't be yours. He's for your friend", I said to myself.

Jane stopped when she saw me.
Jane - "Oh Angela, here you are. Wow, you look gorgeous".
Me - "Thanks girlfriend"

I sensed Mike's eyes on me. I secretly hoped he approved me.
Mike - "Angela, you look stunning. I couldn't believe it was you. I mean you look absolutely beautiful and sexy too".
Mike said with his eyes roaming all over my body. I felt heat everywhere his eyes touched.
Me - "Thanks for the compliment Mike"
Mike - "Come and have your sit here, the party will soon start"
He took my hand and positioned me on a seat. I shivered at his touch. He was looking at my cleavages. I saw hunger in his eyes, he looked like he wanted to strip off my cloths. I suddenly felt as if I was naked.

"Please can I get a glass of water?" I asked him, my throat had suddenly gone dry
Mike - "Sure you can, if you will excuse me for a moment".
He stood up to get me a glass of water. My eyes followed him as he left.

"Girlfriend, if you continue looking at that guy like that, I have little doubt that Jane will ruin this party and put up a fight with you", Sanzy said as she took the seat next to me.
"What do you mean?" I questioned her, she couldn't have noticed me.
Sanzy - "It's all over you my dear. You are looking at Mike as if you've never seen a guy before"
Me - "Oh! Come off it Sanzy, you know that's not true"
Sanzy - "Well if you ask me, the guy is really cute though and Jane doesn't deserve him"
Me - "Well, whether she deserves him or not, they are together and that's all that matters".

Within a short time the party started. I started seeing television faces, celebrities, politicians and the city's big and rich men. All the big fishes that Sanzy had talked about. I was introduced to a lot of people. Most of them showed interest in me but I waved them off. Then it was time to dance, the celebrant danced with his girlfriend and people cheered them on. After the Celebrant declared the dance floor open, it was time for DANCE! DANCE!! DANCE!!!.

I sat down in a corner with a glass of wine watching people by the pool.
"Can I have a dance with you charming beauty?" I turned to find Mike behind me with a stretched hand.
"I thought the celebrant was suppose to dance with his girlfriend" I said more of a statement than a question.
Mike - "Yes you are right but the formalities are over. Its now dance, dance, dance. Anyone can dance with anyone now".
Me - "Okay"
"So can I have this dance?" He asked with his charming smile.
Me - "Sure. Why not?"

How can I say NO to him smiling like that? He took my hand and led me to the dance floor. We danced for a while barely taking our eyes off each other. I saw naked desire in his eyes and I couldn't hide mine either. I have never felt this way before. He was holding my waist in a waltz dance and I melted under his touch.
Suddenly he said:
"Angela, I can't hold this in anymore. I need you right now, I've needed you ever since I set my eyes on you", his voice was clouded by passion.
"Me too", I said before I could stop myself.
Mike - "You know what? I'll go upstairs now, I'll be waiting for you in room 36, please come up"
Me - "But you are the celebrant, you shouldn't leave your party".
Mike - "No buts dear, can't you see everyone is busy with their partners? They won't even notice we are gone".
Me - "But jane..."
Mike - "Common baby, take a look at Jane over there".
He pointed to a dark corner and I saw Jane kissing a man passionately
Me - "Oh"
Mike - "There she is, don't you think she will want to finish that? Now find your way upstairs, I'll be waiting for you", with that he rushed out.

I quickly scanned the area, I saw Jane and Sanzy busy with their respective partners. I quickly rushed out before I changed my mind. I took the back of the pool, I saw a staircase, I climbed the staircase and on the landing I saw a door "room 26" did he say 26? Yes that's the room. I headed for the door and pushed the door knob without knocking. On opening the door, right in front of me was my father...
