HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY - IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE MISSING CHIBOK GIRLS.

The Yorubas have a saying: "Omo mi ku, o san ju omo mi sonu lo" meaning "a dead child is preferable to a missing child".

In its real sense, this is very correct. I know you all will be surprised that I used "In remembrance of", when the children are not yet dead. But going by the Yoruba saying above, I'm sure by now you understand what I mean.

I must be frank with you, if these girls were dead, it would have been better cuz they would have been buried and their parents would have received compensations from the government leaving all of us in a calm state by now. But with these girls missing and their welfare unknown to all, it is a heavy one on our hearts. I'm very sure some of these girls' parents will be in an unbearable condition, some will even refuse to eat and some would have lost their minds. But if these girls were dead, there wouldn't be any situation like this by now.

Today is children's day and it saddens my heart whenever it occurs to me that these girls are some where in this country in an unknown location because if the location is known, why have they not been set free? These girls were abducted by our award winning insurgents; Boko Haram on April 14, exactly 43 days today. The parents of these girls will for sure be very hurt to see the mates of their girls celebrating today's children's day and their girls are no where to be found.

I am still very surprised that our said Almighty security agents and the borrowed ones from other countries are yet to bring back these girls. I've you all noticed that the #BringBackOurGirls campaign that was all over the place and hot is now becoming cold? In fact, I barely see the hashtag on social media platforms now unlike before that it was everywhere; on the tree, in the seas and oceans, in the kitchen, on your bed, merely closing your eyes sef, you'd see it.

Yeah! Gradually the issue of some missing 234 girls will fade away in our memories, the same way ALUU 4 faded. You'll be surprised how that came to be.

With the situation on ground and the reports we are getting from the search of these girls by the Military, it should be clear to all by now that the HUMAN POWERS which we have employed will not help bring these girls back home, we need SUPERNATURAL POWERS and that is why we should all observe #ADayFastingAndPrayersForNigeria.

Pick a day in the month of June and observe yours. Nigeria is our country, these abducted girls are our sisters, #ADayFastingAndPrayersForNigeria is not too much of a thing to do in order to save our girls and Nigeria as a whole.

Let's make God reign in this land again.
