So, you want to tell me you've don't know what that title means. You dare not. I could remember when I asked a colleague of mine in office if he has ever heard about it before. I was mad at myself when John said;
"Friends with Benefits? Oh! That? Yeah, it means uhm friends who help each other out of trouble"

A young graduate for that matter. Here is one of the reasons none of my children will ever attend a private University. If dem no fit go Federal or State University, make dem sit don for house dey chop for my neck. I'd hate myself if I never went to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. That school mar and made me. OOU? Omo Olowo University.

Well, my name is Fred. A Computer Analyst. I'm also an ICT Consultant, and a Professional Software Engineer. Am single by the Special Grace of God - Single and happy. There is this part of my life I'm gon be sharing with you guys.

Yeah! The Love part of my Life or how should I put it? The Love Story of my life? No! That one no follow.....abeg, the koko is I'm gon be sharing with you guys a story.

When I gained admission into OOU, I was the very gentle but ambitious guy. I solemnly attend classes but on the other hand, I would not be idle.....Throughout my 100 Level days, I only went to school on important days. Buh I was building a career in the back end. 100 level days are not for a cool nigga to be known, you stay on a lowkey and by 200 Level, you let them know the real nigga in you. Must be rich, fresh and must be with brains.

Make I no lie you, I was in that school to have fun. And I had it big big time. My number ONE RULE then was;
Say NO to SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP. Itz not worth it.

Yeah! I said it. Go tell it anywhere. Fred Jones said it.

I went to the pool with my friends one hot Sunday afternoon during my 100Level days. My friends ain't 100Level guyz but final year students. And they were the ruling niggas in school back then. We are the ones rocking the clubs in my school. We are seen everywhere. We lived in the liveliest hall in Ago-Iwoye.

Back to my story.

I had no intention to swim that afternoon but the girl I saw in the pool the moment I entered the pool arena made me change my mind and announced to my friends that I was going to swim. I sat down and watched this angel with the most beautiful black skin in the world. She was glowing inside the pool. I lost my senses whenever she takes her head out of the water anytime she goes under the water. She was not the only one in the water.....she came with her friends + her boyfriend. That one no even move me at all.

I gave her the staring of her life.....she knew I was coming for her the moment I got into the water. Funmi was a goddess. My body shook whenever I try come close to her in the pool. I got her full details on Monday when I saw her in the hall my Faculty receives lectures. She happened to be in my Faculty but different Departments. Same nani.

NUMBER TWO RULE;
Have nothing to do with any babe throughout your 100Level days. Still that Lowkey Orientation in 100 Level.

There was no day I went to school during my exam period that our eyes won't meet. I'm very sure if she got the courage to come ask what I wanted from her, she would have done that. I never said Hi to her. I'd just keep staring at her.

My first day in school, 200 Level. I went straight to her class and sat behind where she was sitting with my dark shades on. Dressed casually and looking cool. Like someone had informed her that the guy who stares at her everytime was right behind her.....she turned and our eyes met again. Like in the movies, I slowly took my shades off and smiled at her. She smiled slowly and turned her head forward. Took her bag and stood to leave. I took my time to stand up and followed Funmi.

There she was; outside, like she was waiting for me.
"Fred, what exactly do you want from me? Why are you everywhere around me? Why have you been following me? You scaring the life out of my body", she quietly lamented. Thank God nobody was around the balcony of the big lecture hall.

I was taken aback by that very smart move of hers. I just played along like it was a written script. But then, how did she get to know my name? Abi, didn't she just call my name? Hmmmm.....So, she probably must have gone ahead to find out things about me. So interesting.
"Hi Funmi, how are you?", I stretched forward my hand and I felt the coolest hands I've ever felt in my whole life.

I didn't want to free the hands.
"I am fine, thanks. Fred, what are all your moves all about? The door to my heart is closed. I have a boyfriend whom I so much love....."
"Hello dear", cuts in by her boyfriend; Kayode.
"Hi love. I'll see you later, Fred. Excuse me please" she said grabbing her boyfriend's arm as she followed him.

I watched both of them leave and I bursted into great laughter.
"They don't know the Great Fred Jones. They will know me and never forget me.", I said smiling to myself as I left for the School park.

...to be continued!!!
