OLUBADAN OF IBADAN, OBA SAMUEL ODULANA ODUGADE’S DEATH.

The representative of the Oyo South Senatorial District at the Nigerian youth parliament Honorable Adedapo Kunle (Walter) has described the passing away of Olubadan as the loss of a leading light to all the south western states, Ibadan land, Yoruba land and the entire Nigeria.

In a condolence message made available to the tribune, he noted that everything about the departed king was legendary. He said it was sad but not tragic that he returned home at age 101.

The late monarch was able not only to sustain the royal majestic and reverence left behind by his predecessors, he added colors, panache, so also he achieved and cultivated tremendous respect to the stool of Olubadan throne

Honorable Walter who is also the chairman southwest youth parliamentary caucus, Commiserating with the Oyo State Governor, his Excellency senator Abiola Ajimobi, the Odulana family, The youths, people of Ibadan land and The entire Oyo State. Honorable Walter urged them to take solace in the fact that the late paramount ruler led an exemplary life and “his regal footprints are endured on the sands of time.”
