#CHNG - WHY I REALLY DON'T LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT SPORTS!

I know so many people will kinda not like me anymore for what they're about to read! As it seems, ave gat no other choice.....I need to make my points clear. So many people around me especially the guyz, think itz very abnormal for a guy not to be involved in one sport or the other. The day my mentor got to know I virtually know nothing about sport, he went mad at me.....and asked what am interested in......I told him very clearly - MUSIC!

I really hate everything related to sports! I no dey watch match.....I no sabi play ball.....I no sabi play basketball.....no sport activity wey I fit do! And ave never felt ashamed about this!

Oh yeah! I support Barcelonia abi Barcelona de ni?......buh, ave only watched their match once or twice. And the last tym I did, at a viewing center, I could vividly remember I slept off towards the end of the 1st half! Ask me to make a list of Barca players.....I can only mention Messi, is Puyol and David Villa still in Barca? What about Iniesta and who else?

As in, Football matches are always boring to me......if yu wanna make me sleep, you just make me watch a match, I'll start snoring the next 15 minutes.

The only one wey I fit talk sey e dey interesting to me small na Car Race.....I kinda like that one.

You see that Rugby abi werin dem dey call am? Na the most stupidiest sport ever invented by man be that......as in, the way dem dey play am sef dey always vex me......so so crazy!

Hen hen, there is another one wey dem dey call Cricket! Haaaaa....mo ma hate sport yi gan ooooo.......as in very very much.......the game no make any sense at all at all.......since I don dey watch am, I still find it difficult to understand the rules of the game. VERY ANNOYING SPORT!

One thing wey dey vex me for football na the way some guyz take am.
You'll see some.....they know all the names of players in the world.....and they know nothing in class!
Some can argue football from morning to night.....call them to come and participate in a debate competition, they will fail woefully.
Some can use their last kobo to buy Complete Sport and go hungry all day......dem no dey get money buy handouts for skul.
Some will bet with the money wey dem no get......wen dem kan lose, na to borrow money settle bet.

I have witnessed so many fights caused by football argument......some have bin killed as a result of this.

And you know what? All these happen here while C. Ronaldo is unaware of it.....he jes keeps making his trillions while some people here use their last kobo on him. HAAAAAA! Iwo Olorun, shemi bi C. Ronaldo oooo.

The one wey dey vex me pass na the money wey these players dey earn weekly! Imagine, a player with an ordinary SSCE go dey earn over 50million naira weekly.....averagely 200million monthly! HAAAAAAA! Eyi poju. And our professors here earns 150thousand naira monthly! Upon all the grammar wey Bros Soyinka sabi, one of the flying eaglets will pay his 5 months earning once!

Call me stubborn in my refusal to get interested, but I have better things to do with my leisure than surrender it to the commercialized, banally competitive, jargon-ridden, overexposed, overbearing domination that sports exercises over our culture.

I am not saying Sports aint good or not entertaining enough......I have only said my own part of the story......THANKS......*drops pen and majestically walks away*
