HOW GLO, MTN, ETISALAT & AIRTEL DUPED ME. I SAW HELL IN THE HANDS OF THESE NETWORKS.

As an online personality, I pay awesomely in order to be online always; to get myself updated, attend to mails, for research, to post on my blog and various sites I'm affiliated with and most importantly, stay close to my fans, families and loved ones by making myself available for chat or whatever.

I use an android smart phone, a heavy user for that matter. I do a lot online which had made me SWAP lines just to be on the network that provides affordable and effective internet service. I've obviously tried out all the networks in Nigeria and I've come to realize that they are all thieves. BlackBerry users enjoy them, no doubt but users who make use of mobile data go through hell everytime. I wanna give accounts on how each of these networks have duped me in the past:
1. ETISALAT - Etisalat was the first network I subscribed on when my online tasks and works became hectic. Una remember the 15MB dem dey give person if you recharge N200? I enjoyed that one well well....buh when I started blogging as far back as 2010, I moved to the N1000 monthly data plan....I don dey enjoy that one jejeli until one day my line just went off, like it got damaged. My phone just dey tell me 'INSERT SIM' and SIM dey there. I called ETISALAT's Customer Care Service and explained to them what happened. The stupid lady told me there was nothing she could do....sey the SIM don damage niyen. All my contacts LOST [I no back them up], my 80MB remaining too GONE. I remember telling the lady before hanging up that 'Etisalat no go prosper for Nigeria'.....my curse don already dey worry dem. Awon olofo.

2. AIRTEL - This one na baba nla thief. Chai!!! I suffered in the hands of AIRTEL, I didn't curse them though (Expecting an endorsement deal from them soonest. AMEN) but what they did to me really pained me gaaan ni ooo. One of my colleagues in office told me AIRTEL BIS was working on android phones, na em I run go buy SIM, register am and bought N1500 recharge card for subscription. I load am finish, use am subscribe (e enter ooo) but then I couldn't use it. For more than 3 days wey me dey think sey e go work sey maybe na network, internet no gree load for my phone ooo. Another colleague told me to go for N1500 for 1.5GB mobile data....my mumuness carry me go do that one too and I got the shock of my life when after I recharged, AIRTEL tell me sey "your account balance is not sufficient enough for this transaction". I go check my balance, I started crying when I discovered that my airtime had been chopped. I lost N3000 to AIRTEL within a week. I broke the SIM last last ni ooo.

3. GLO - This one no really dupe me buh I was cheated. I was told that if you pay GLO N2000, they'll give you 1.6GB....Wow!!! It sounded lovely, with 1.6GB I should be fine for a month. The 750MB MTN was giving me with N2000 at that time no dey do me, and at the end of the month I always ended up subscribing twice i.e. N4000 monthly. HABA!!! Even Dangote pikin no dey spend that much on internet monthly. Kilode? I bought a GLO SIM, register am, recharged N2000 and GLO madly gave me just 800MB. The idiot that picked my call when I called their Customer Care tell me sey the 1.6GB for N2000 na promo and e don end. Why promo go end when me join una network? The 800MB didn't last me for 10 days, GLO just dey fap am like person wey dey rush pap. Mike Adenuga wey be my fellow Ijebu man too cheat me. GLO SIM in my phone is now for decoration.

4. MTN - Hmmmmmmm. MTN, Most Terrible Network Ever Liveth. After ETISALAT and AIRTEL successfully chopped my money and dignity...lol. I decided to try MTN and see if those ones will be good boys. Dem good small. I started with their 750MB for N2000 data plan and that one dey last me for 20days unlike the GLO 800MB wey finish in 10days. An ardent reader of my blog and an awesome friend, Gbolahan Wahab introduced me to MTN Night Plan which costs N2500 for 3GB that can only be used from 9pm to 6am, I also get 1.5GB as bonus wey I fit use during the day. When I concurred to follow this pattern, I was so scared to recharge the N2500 airtime I bought. I dey fear sey MTN fit just comot the money and the thing no go work....I go just die. N2500 no be small money na. Well, na werin I dey use now be that and itz been the best ever but still very expensive.

Blackberry users pay JUST N1000 to enjoy internet services which is almost unlimited. Buh we wey dey on android will have to pay over N2000 to enjoy internet service. That is why most android users reply your messages on BBM or whatsapp 7 days after you send them....don't blame them, na the free 10MB wey MTN dey give dem dem dey manage......buhahahaha.

You must be a rich man if you wanna enjoy using an android or iOS phone.
