*clear throat* My people, you see hen....this life is full of UPs and DOWNs. When a door is closed, believe me, another will open up for you in a matter of time. It only takes the STRONG to go through the storm until it is OVER. Some things are really happening in this country but every time I complain about them, they will say this Online Thug don carry em wahala come again. Why won't I complain?
One handsome man was so lucky to have been signed unto a GREAT Record Label some years ago. It was something of a great news as this young man was the first artiste ever to be endorsed by this great Record Label. If not for this Record Label, no one would have ever known a Talented and Versatile R&B/Hip Hop Singer called May D (Real name; Awodumila Akinmayokun). He was loyal to this label, and we (his fans) all enjoyed his tracks and collabos. Just for us all to wake up one faithful morning to the news; "Surprise Split! No More P-Square & May D….Artiste is No Longer Signed to Square Records".
Why?
Till today, Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye are yet to give us a reasonable reason.
I personally see May D as a VERY STRONG nigga. I wonder how he felt when he got the news that year....Hen?....A whole Square Records sack you as an artiste....no reason....the artiste career don end niyen. The artiste should just go and die. But May D never allowed that stop his STAR from shining. He had fans to cater for.
Square Records wanted to silence his 'D' but May D kept telling us; 'the D is not silent'.
If I'm to compare his songs since he left Square Records to PSqaure's songs (except Personally)....I'll give PSquare, 63% and then award May D, 96%.
Ok! The koko is, May D just released a song titled Ibadi. And since I don download this song on Tuesday, I no gree hear another song again oooo. It has been on REPEAT since Tuesday....other songs in my music library don dey cry sey I no even check on them. That jam is dope. That Legendury Beat of a Producer na were man. May D is one hell of a Talented Singer.
Square Records shouldn't have just let him go like that. Don't get me wrong, Peter and Paul are really good but if May D still dey with them, great hit songs will be coming from this crew almost every week. Mavin Crew sef go dey shiver ni.

Sincerely, May D is a STAR full of lessons. When he was sacked in 2012, so many would have thought 'e don finish for this guy' but May D is just getting STARTED. He owns Sure Boy Records, a subsidiary of Confam Entertainment. Now lives in a N150million 6-bedroom duplex. At least, he try.
Una see sey God is GOOD in the life of May D.
He has an album to his credit titled 'Chapter One'....and on behalf of his fans worldwide, I must say:
"We just can't wait to buy your next album"
