Tweeterview: Kelly Hansome is a house hold name. Tell us something about you that people don’t know.
Kelly Hansome: A lot of people don’t know KellyHansome. Their thoughts have been misguided by what they read and hear. Some don’t even know my name is spelt #kellyHANSOME not #kellyHANDSOME’ but I understand this one Lol. I’ll describe Kelly Hansome with just two words; Simple ans Straightforward. I’m human too.. hence imperfect.

Tweeterview: You are a Talented Singer, but Sometimes you rap. What Music Genre would you say you do?
KellyHansome: My music has no genre because that restricts and confines my talent. I create whatever, depending on my state of mind. My inspiration is generally centered around GOD and money(the spiritual and physical) ‘M.A.G.A. – Money And God Always’. I refuse 2 restrict/classify my talent & creativity by man-made statistics and standards. Variety is d spice of life.

Tweeterview: Which Song would you say is your greatest hit so far?
Kelly Hansome: By my standards, I’ll say none. All my songs are great and like spirits, they all have a purpose to serve on earth.

Tweeterview: Your new song #Akunatakasi dropped on Tuesday, what is Akunatakasi all about?
Kelly Hansome: Aku = wealth. Akunatakasi = ‘Wealth bites’. Money isn’t wealth, it’s just a part of it. Wealth is LOVE and LOVE = GOD. Ok, it’s simple. A whole lot of people don’t know that the real #KellyHansome is not all about beef.

Tweeterview: The Beef between you and MI Abaga and Co, how would u say it affected your career. Negatively or Positively?
Kelly Hansome: Both. Negatively in the sense that the media blew it out of proportion thereby creating a misconception and division. Positively in the sense that we both realized that we’re better off united than apart so we set a new standard.

Tweeterview: People say U actually discovered Patoranking, not Timaya. How true is this?
Kelly Hansome: False. Never met Pato but I love his music. @timayatimaya not only discovered @patorankingfire but put money on him.

Tweeterview: Who are your Top 3 Nigerian Vocalists?
Kelly Hansome: In the female category – #1 @Asa_official #2 @TiwaSavage #3 @OfficialWaje. In the male category #1 @2faceidibia #2 @BankyW #3 @2niteFlavour

Tweeterview: What do You Like/Dislike about the Music industry?
Kelly Hansome: I like d fact that artistes can now make a living by doing what they love, it’s no longer a taboo 2 be a musician. I also love the fact that there are structures like @5iveMusicGroup @COSONNG that protect our rights as IP creators. And by IP I mean Intellectual Property. What I dislike is that artistes don’t have love and respect themselves. We don’t support ourselves, there’s no unity. Most entertainers are focused on hype and materialistic things so spirituality and the real essence of life suffers. Eg. living in lekki is the new ish now so at all cost and by all means everyone tries to meet that standard. Smh NO! I’m not saying it’s bad but I am saying don’t do it because every1 is. Do it because u can comfortably afford it.

Tweeterview: What’s your definition of an “International Artiste?”
Kelly Hansome: An International artiste is 1 whose music is widely known, accepted and recognized internationally.

Kelly Hansome: I’m getting there.

Kelly Hansome: my celebrity woman crush is Linda Ikeji for so many reasons!

Tweeterview: Cool. Give us one outstanding reason from your so many reasons why Linda Ikeji is your woman crush?
Kelly Hansome: She came out from nothing, now she has made something for herself. She didn’t wait for anyone. That’s a turn on. And hey, it has nothing to do with her new property o lol. It has everything to do with her personality strength.
