Halimat Oniru is not new on the social and business radar, to some she is a Socialite, to some she is a major key player in dredging business. She can be traced to the Royal Oniru dynasty, a Prominent Royal Family in Lekki Lagos state. The drop dead gorgeous looking business woman is not your everyday personality on the social scene but her love for humanity transcends the imaginable.
Halimat is the CEO of HALEEMS INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED, a company that is specialized in Dredging, Construction, Equipment Leasing ,and Supplier. The company’s experience and midas touch as a major key player in the dredging sector has made her company a toast for many Engineering And Indigenous Oil Firms.
The genesis of the alleged messy feud with her friend started when her dredger was faulty and she needed to deliver to her client; Cross Rivers State Government, so she opted to lease a new dredger with the help of her friend Bukola Oladeji who solicited that the contract should be sub-contracted to her husband Oladejo Olabisi, Halimat agreed to sub-contract the job to them and they both reached an agreement in Calabar with Barrister Sunny Mgbe in attendance to binding the agreement with due process. Apparently, it was stated in the agreement the sharing formula is 65% for Halimat and 35% for Olabisi. Halimat then made Olabisi a signatory to one of her account with Stanbic IBTC.
The feud got messier when Bukola Oladejo introduced Wuraola Bekky Jegede known as Bekky Gold to her that she sells imported clothes from Paris, Italy and the United States which Halimat patronized her with over a million naira but Halimat later discovered that she buys her stuff from the popular Balogun market in Lagos and not Abroad, she always claim wanting to go and clear her goods at the port.
Bukola on the other hand sells sliming tea, without the consent of Halimat used her before and after picture to run an advert on Linda Ikeji's Blog which Halimat told her to remove the picture because it was without her consent . Wuraola came begging Halimat to forgive and continue patronizing her but Halimat chose to stay out of trouble by ignoring her. Meanwhile Bekky Gold went to tell Bukola that Halimat and her husband; Olabisi are dating, so, Bukola told her husband to withdraw the money he injected into the dredging business. Olabisi wrote several petition claiming the documents that backed the partnership deal was forged by Halimat to defraud him.
After confirmation and investigation it shows that the document was duly signed by both parties with the presence of a lawyer, this vindicated Halimat of being innocent of the allegation placed on her by Olabisi. All differences have been resolved personally and Halimat has been cleared on the issue.
Despite all these issues, Halimat's drive for her passion is still very much on the high side as her office in Delta is full of activities with lots of well executed contracts; Did a lot of dredging jobs for Bayelsa State Government in 2013, worked in areas like Ayamasa , Alebiri, Angalabri all in Ekeromo LGA in Bayelsa; Dredged for Setraco in Ogriagbene Community of Delta state; and just rounded up a clearing project of the super highway for Cross Rivers State Government.
Halimat's business; HALEEMS INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED is becoming a force to reckon with. Its tentacles is spanning across the coast of Africa. A company with 20 permanent staffs and 40 casual staffs. HALIMAT ONIRU is also a Philanthropist into Humanitarian Services quietly in her own little way. Also about to start up a Reclamation Project in Bakassi for Cross Rivers State Government. She is a Contractor with the Nigerian Navy, furnished NNS CORA in Lagos 2007.
